Three Copper/Gold Projects located in the Isaac region of Central Queensland.
The Gotthardt and Bundarra granodiorites intrude the Bowen Basin sediments, and were the focus of copper mining and smelting early last century.
Application of a replacement style mineralisation model to these areas represents a significant untested opportunity to discover new orebodies.
Historical exploration includes 39m @ 0.8% Cu, 3m @ 2.0% Cu & 30g/t Au, 55m @ 0.4% Cu & 0.1 g/t Au, 30m @ 0.5% Cu & 0.4 g/t Au, 50m @ 2.2% Cu and 0.3g/t Au in costeans.
Drilling includes 3m @ 1.8% Cu, 0.3g/t Au and 27g/t Ag in 12m @ 0.7% Cu, 38m @ 0.5% Cu, 52m @ 0.2% Cu inc. 1m @ 2.4% Cu & 2m @ 1.0% Cu and an Actinolite skarn at Smelter Workings up to 10.1 g/t Au.
Recent soil sampling defines a +1km long copper zinc zone (up to 0.2% Cu) in area of Back Creek formation sediments.
Magnetic data modelling indicates a ~12km x 3km buried intrusive complex at Valkyrie, with the potential for overlying impermeable sediments to act as a fluid trap.
