Eastern Isaac Project, Central QLD

Three Copper/Gold Projects located in the Isaac region of Central Queensland.

PROJECT INFO

Eastern Isaac Project

  • 25% ownership with option to earn up to 80% of the Project.
  • Three Copper/Gold project areas totalling 637km²: Gotthardt (EPM 26984 + EPM 28733 (application): 93km²) Valkyrie (EPM 26991: 254km²) and Hamilton Park (EPM’s 26979 & 27242: 290km²)
  • Gotthardt Range and Valkyrie –mineralisation associated with copper and gold bearing cretaceous granodioritic intrusions (with historical copper mining) within the Bowen Basin sediments
  • Hamilton Park – prospective for Epithermal and Porphyry style deposits in rocks of the Conners Arch
HIGHLIGHTS

Mineralisation Model

The Gotthardt and Bundarra granodiorites intrude the Bowen Basin sediments, and were the focus of copper mining and smelting early last century. For example, a crushing from one mine produced copper at 29.7%, gold at 4g/t and silver at 330g/t.

Application of a replacement style mineralisation model to these areas represents a significant untested opportunity to discover new orebodies.

Historical exploration includes 39m @ 0.8% Cu, 3m @ 2.0% Cu & 30g/t Au55m @ 0.4% Cu & 0.1 g/t Au, 30m @ 0.5% Cu & 0.4 g/t Au, 50m @ 2.2% Cu and 0.3g/t Au in costeans.

Drilling includes 3m @ 1.8% Cu, 0.3g/t Au and  27g/t Ag in 12m @ 0.7% Cu, 38m @ 0.5% Cu, 52m @ 0.2% Cu inc. 1m @ 2.4% Cu & 2m @ 1.0% Cu and an Actinolite skarn at Smelter Workings up to 10.1 g/t Au.

Recent soil sampling defines a +1km long copper zinc zone (up to 0.2% Cu) in area of Back Creek formation sediments. In addition to a very coherent 600x170m >800ppm copper soil anomaly.

Magnetic data modelling indicates a ~12km x 3km buried intrusive complex at Valkyrie, with the potential for overlying impermeable sediments to act as a fluid trap.

Work on Valkyrie suggests mineral system fundamentals of fluid, pathway, trap and preservation are present > deposits of scale in commodities of desire are being targeted.
